A small thinly potted earthenware bowl with a turned pedestal type spreading foot. Two-tone treacleware glaze (Rockingham type). The base is deeply recessed. Glazed all over except for foot ring. English or possibly Scottish.
Bowls are surprisingly uncommon in treacleware, and this is a particularly well potted and attractive example.
