Small pearlware tankard or mug with silver resist lustre decoration, including flowers, zig-zag lines, leaves or dots and ‘fish scales’. The clear glaze has a distinct blue colouration where it pools. No foot. The base is shallow turned recessed. The handle is a crimped ‘7’ type with a rudimentary moulded ‘rolled’ upper terminal.
The base has (besides my own) a collector’s label for the Michael C. Turner collection. Probably Staffordshire, England.
Pot ID: AP/1399
Dimensions: 85 mm high.
Net Weight (grams): 208

Condition Report:
A few absolutely tiny glaze rubs on edges of rim. The lustre is slighty worn on one side and more so on the handle, but generally excellent overall.
