A figural inkwell / pen holder, in form of a Turkish man wearing a turban, sitting cross-legged. His right hand is holding a pipe(?) with glowing red embers(?). Decorated with both under-glaze and over-glaze colours. The body appears to be porcelain. Staffordshire, c.1860-1890.
